This is Lillian - isn't she beautiful??!!  She is so spirited & fun too!  
I love getting to do sessions like this -  Letting these girls dress up & be a star in front of the camera for their 5th Birthday photos is so special & so much fun!  Remember the fun photos I shared from Karoline's Birthday session a little while back?   Spending time romping around with these little ladies is so refreshing...I hope I can do lots more like this!

When she told me she could do a cartwheel into the pool & I asked if she was going to, of course she said yes!  What a fun way to end her the session!

Princess Karoline // St. Louis Child Photography

Recently I had a mom contact me about doing some photos for her daughter's 5th Birthday & I was immediately so excited about them.  I get to photograph children all the time, but never really like this - the amount of fun & freedom I had frolicking through the park with Karoline (with no one else to focus on but her) was so refreshing!  
She got to change outfits a few times, wear her princess shoes, play with one of her favorite dollies & pick wild berries, all while dancing, singing, & laughing...what little girl wouldn't love this?!  I know I did!  I was giddy the whole time!

Thank you so much for allowing me to do this session for you Erika!  Karoline is a true beauty on the inside & out & it was such a pleasure to capture her in this sweet season of her life!

Annabelle is ONE // Missouri Botanical Gardens // St. Louis Child Photography

I know I've been posting lots of kiddos lately, but tis the season I guess.  haha  I promise I'll be posting more weddings & engagement sessions soon - it's just about that season now as well.  ;)

But for now I want to introduce you to my adorable niece, Annabelle Constance...she is the sweetest, cheeriest, cutest little thing ever!  I love the way she laughs, cuddles her little baby doll, pats me on the back when we hug, & smiles so big you think her face is going to get stuck that way.  haha  She has a way of turning my heart to mush & I love that I get to watch her grow up.  

She was a little sleepy & hungry when we started our journey, but warmed up after some food & then really piled on the charm during the 2nd half of the session.  haha  

She wasn't too sure about those leg warmers, but you could tell she felt adorable as can be in them.  ha

See what I mean about her big smile...we were all laughing & having so much fun!

Finn's Adventure // Francis Park // St. Louis Child Photography

The spring air has me excited about all things warm, colorful, & adventurous!  & I can't stop thinking about this AMAZING session I got to do last summer alongside the wonderful Kristi Pinkham - a styling genius.  Of course the adventure would not have been complete without the delightful, spirited, & might I add, adorable Finnley.  

He was just about to turn 3 when we shot this & was such a good sport about everything.  Kristi has such a great way of bringing a simple session to life with fun props for the kids to interact with as well as a boost of beautiful, creative energy (can you imagine having more of that at a session with me - it's pretty wonderful! haha).   If you've ever thought about doing a styled session, debate no longer & just do it!  You won't regret it & you'll have more than just vibrant photos in the end, you'll have some great memories from the experience as well! 

Okay...enough jabbering & onto the images...I hope you enjoy them as much as we do!
