I have  been wanting to share all of this sweetness with you for quite some time now!

I have had the amazing opportunity to capture so many beautiful families as they grow (some even before mom & dad say "I DO") - it truly is such an honor & such a joy!  So, I wanted to put a little post together from one of my First Year Packages to give everyone an idea of how important & awesome it is to document all of the beautiful growth that takes place in such a short amount of time!  (I'll try to post a couple more families soon too!)

I believe it really is so important to have precious images like these to cherish many many years from now - right?!  & not just for you, but for your kiddo's too!  Don't we all love looking back at photos of us & our parents from years ago?  It's always good to have something to look back on & remember the joy &  beauty in these fleeting moments!

Caty + Randy // Old Town St. Charles Wedding Photography

Good morning!  Happy Monday!
I'm so happy to share this gorgeous wedding with you!  The beautiful spring colors & details from Caty & Randy's wedding were just perfect!  She wanted a European, romantic vibe & I think she nailed it!  Keeping with "typical" spring weather, they just happened to have a pretty rainy day for their wedding - but we got blessed with just enough time to do everything we needed to do outside before it started raining again - love when it works out so perfectly!

This is Caty's childhood dog - she just had to have him in a few photos on her wedding day - I think he enjoyed his moment in the spotlight.

I'm so glad the storm held off a little while for us to get all of these beautiful images at the Old Capitol Building in St. Charles...it was the perfect setting!

Such a beautiful group of ladies, right?!  & Caty - you were such a stunning bride!

Right after we decided to pull out the "just in case" umbrellas for a few fun photos with them - it started to rain!  Good thing we were able to get all the other photos taken before then!

Their reception at the St. Charles Embassy Suites was so elegant.  
& how beautiful were their floral arrangements?  Perfect for their spring wedding!

Now, you tell me...what romantic, European style wedding would be complete without a gelato cart & cute little European details??!

Congratulations again Caty & Randy!  Thank you so much for inviting me to share in such a beautiful, special, &  memorable day in your lives!

OH!  Did I mention that there were seven of my brides at this wedding?!  Five of them were all related (by marriage), so of course, I just had to get a photo with them!  & three of these lovelies now have adorable children I get to photograph too - needless to say I feel like I'm with family when I'm with all of them!  Love you girls!

Theresa & Frank // St. Charles Engagement Photography

I had so much fun hanging out with Theresa & Frank earlier this fall...you'll probably be able to tell once you look through these that I was laughing the whole time we were together (& couldn't stop smiling the whole time I was editing their images too).  Theresa & I actually went to high school together - even though we haven't spoken in years (she joined the Army & lives in Italy now!) it was so great to catch up & laugh together over some coffee with her & her future hubby!  They were only in town for the weekend, so we tried to keep this session short & simple, but I'm so happy with all the wonderfully relaxed & sweet images we were able to get in that short time.  I hope you enjoy them too!

Taylor // Class of 2015 // St. Charles Senior Portrait Photography

This gorgeous & sweet spirited gal is Taylor.  She is a 2015 graduate whom I had the pleasure of capturing in this special season of her life...you'll be able to tell looking through these images that we had a lot of fun together!

Madison // Class of 2014 // St. Charles Senior Portrait Photography

I know I blogged this session from last Fall on my old site, but it's just too wonderful not to post here on my new website/blog.  Plus it's coming up on Senior Portrait Season & I keep thinking of all the fun seniors I've had in the past!  :)

This was one of those sessions that I loved every image from!  
Madison & I had a lot of fun roaming around Old Town St. Charles with her momma finding all kinds of beautiful places for her photos...I hope you enjoy!  

I love that she wanted to do a few in an old book store.  My little nieces love to read & I can just imagine doing something fun & unique like this with them one day.

Madison, you are such a beautiful girl!  Thanks for allowing me to capture this special season in your life & for having so much fun exploring with me!

Jayden's 6 month cuteness // St. Charles Family Photography

Are you ready for this?

This little guy had me grinning from ear to ear the entire time I was with him...&...yep, I'm still grinning now as I post these images!  haha I had the privilege of capturing the beautiful wedding of this little dude's parents a few years ago.  & I was so excited when they wanted to revisit a spot where we did some of their engagement photos for his 6 month session - it was pretty perfect - just like their sweet growing family. 

Sometimes you just can't contain the excitement!

I love getting to share in so many special seasons for my clients - it's such an honor & a joy to watch them grow into strong, happy, beautiful families!

It's easy to see that the love just keeps on growing.  It was so good to see you again Steve & Farren...& of course meeting Jayden was a wonderful treat too!!
